What I Offer

I use an integrative counselling approach, which means I draw on a range of therapies to create something that fits you, not the other way around. This flexibility allows me to adapt sessions to your unique needs, combining approaches such as person-centred, psychodynamic, Gestalt, and transactional analysis to support personal growth, self-awareness, and change.

I warmly welcome people of all backgrounds, identities, sexualities, and cultures into a safe, non-judgmental space to explore the challenges they are currently experiencing. Everyone’s journey is different, so I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Together we can explore your experiences and find a way forward that feels supportive, personal, and meaningful.

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming. Grounding and mindfulness practices are gentle ways to bring your attention back to the here and now. They can help you feel calmer, more centred, and better able to cope when things get tough. I can guide you through simple techniques you can also use in everyday life.

Noticing somatic experiences in therapy builds a richer, more attuned relationship where both body and mind are welcomed into the work. In our sessions, I pay attention not only to words but also to what we notice in the body. Somatic awareness—such as tension, restlessness, or ease—can reveal feelings that are hard to put into words and helps us stay present to what’s really happening. By gently noticing these sensations together, we can deepen understanding, regulate emotions, and create a more attuned and supportive therapeutic relationship.

HeartMath® is a simple yet powerful approach designed to help you manage stress and improve your overall wellbeing. It focuses on the connection between your heart, mind, and emotions. By using easy breathing and focus techniques, HeartMath helps your body shift into a calmer, more balanced state known as “coherence.”

When you’re in coherence, your body and mind work together more smoothly. This can reduce feelings of stress and overwhelm, improve sleep, boost resilience, and help you think more clearly. Many people also notice they feel more emotionally balanced and able to respond to challenges with greater ease. In our sessions, I can guide you through these techniques and the tools you learn are practical and easy to use in everyday life — whether that’s taking a moment before a difficult conversation, calming yourself during a busy day, or finding a greater sense of inner calm.

Alongside my counselling practice, I work within organisations to create safer, healthier workplaces where people can thrive. Psychological health and safety are about more than reducing stress – it’s about fostering environments where wellbeing, resilience, and respectful communication are embedded into everyday culture.

Through MRT & Associates we help organisations to:

  • Build awareness of mental health and wellbeing across teams and leadership.

  • Develop psychologically safe spaces where employees feel able to speak up without fear of judgement or reprisal.

  • Strengthen workplace practices around supervision, listening roles, and duty of care to minimise risk and protect staff.

  • Equip managers with the tools to recognise signs of stress, burnout, and interpersonal challenges, and to respond appropriately.

  • Promote inclusion, belonging, and respect, ensuring that all employees feel valued and supported.

Our approach is relational, practical, and grounded in experience from corporate wellbeing work. By working at the intersection of individual mental health and organisational systems, we help businesses balance performance with genuine care for their people.
