About Me
My approach is relational, which means that my clients are the most important people in the room. At the heart of my work is the belief that therapy should feel like a collaborative and respectful relationship. I see every person as the expert in their own life, and my role is to walk alongside you—helping you uncover insights, recognise strengths, and navigate challenges in a way that feels safe, steady, and empowering.
My Values Guide Every Session:
Creating a space where you can feel genuinely heard and understood
Warmth
Approaching your experiences with openness and without judgement
Curiosity
Holding space for both your struggles and your strengths
Compassion
Encouraging you to bring your whole self, without the need to mask or hide
Authenticity
Honouring your pace, your story, and your choices
Respect
I believe growth often happens at the edges—where comfort meets challenge, and where old patterns make way for new possibilities. Whether you’re facing small daily struggles or exploring deeper, long-standing issues, I aim to help you move towards greater clarity, connection, and a more authentic way of being.
As an integrative counsellor, I draw on different therapeutic models to shape each session around you. From person-centred therapy, I bring empathy, acceptance, and a belief in your capacity for growth. Psychodynamic work helps us understand how past experiences may be influencing you now, while Gestalt encourages awareness of your thoughts, feelings, and patterns as they arise in the moment. Transactional Analysis gives us practical tools to make sense of relationships and communication. I also weave in HeartMath techniques—simple, science-based breathing and focus practices that can help calm your nervous system, reduce stress, and bring a sense of balance. This combination supports both emotional regulation and deeper self-reflection, so we can explore what matters to you from a grounded, steady place.
