Food for the brain

Really interesting talk last night on the impact of nutrition, stimulants - caffeine in particular, anti stress nutrients and mindset on our ability to respond to and build resilience to stress. So much of our energy is depleted when we are anxious, stressed or depressed, as we deal with strong emotional responses.  Some simple steps of having protein in every meal, replacing a coffee with a fruit tea, increasing nutrient intake such as Vitamin C, using Magnesium oil after a work out and directing our breath to be present in the moment, can support all of us in the challenges that we currently encounter. Susannah Lawson delivered the talk in partnership with Food for the Brain and the Brain Bio Centre.
